Video Camera Line Inspection

Cameras are used to identify pipe damage and obstructions that inhibit proper flow or create occasional or repeated backups and helps us quickly and accurately analyze the problem.

A flexible fiber optic cable with a specially designed high-resolution video camera on its tip is inserted into the pipe. As the cable is pushed through the pipe, the operator is able to view the pipes interior on a separate monitor.

Citywide also uses the cameras to verify repairs or blockages have been properly taken care of.

You see what the camera sees.
